Privacy policy

Nuremberg Guide collects as little as it can. There is no account to create, no newsletter wall, and nothing you have to hand over to read a page.

What is collected

Anonymised analytics — which pages get read, roughly which country a visit came from, which links get clicked. It exists so I know which guides to keep updating. I do not sell data and I do not build a profile on you.

Booking and third parties

When you book, you do it on GetYourGuide, under their privacy policy and with the details you enter there — I never see your payment information. The GetYourGuide widgets embedded on some pages may set a cookie so that a booking can be attributed to this site.

Maps and fonts

The map page loads tiles from OpenStreetMap, and the site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. Both see your IP address as part of serving the request, which is unavoidable for any externally hosted asset. Nothing else on the site calls out to a third party.

Your choices

Blocking cookies will not break this site — the pages are static and read fine without them. The map and the booking widgets are the only parts that need JavaScript. Questions about your data? Contact me.
